Britney Spears becomes new face of KENZO campaign

French luxury house KENZO has tapped American pop singer Britney Spears (pictured) for its La Collection Memento N°2 Spring 2018 collection. This was revealed on its social media, sharing a series of pictures of Spears clad in its Collection Momento 2 line.

The social media posts also featured the hashtag #KenzoLovesBritney. German photographer Peter Lindbergh was involved in the campaign.

KENZO's new collection delves into the fashion house's rich history, and features various brand icons, including the memento tiger which Kenzo Takada first developed in the 1970s. As such, KENZO's creative directors Humberto Leon and Carol Lim said on Facebook that Britney Spears is an icon who fits the Memento project "perfectly".
