
BlueCurrent bags GoPro account in Japan

BlueCurrent Japan has entered into a partnership with camera maker GoPro.Together with GoPro, BlueCurrent Group will create and lead marketing and social media duties to connect Japanese consumers with the GoPro brand.Rick Loughery, GoPro director of global media relations, said the agency was picked for its creative ideas.Tetsuya Honda, managing director of BlueCurrent Japan, added GoPro's products are poised to be wildly popular in Japan, where people have a naturalborn affinity for the most cutting-edge of everything, especially in technology, mobility and imagery. In addition to winning GoPro’s communications remit in Japan, BlueCurrent’s services encompass overall communications and execution strategy, including media relations, influencer relations, social media management and consumer activations.
