BLKJ Havas GM Jude Foo steps down

Jude Foo has left his GM role at BLKJ Havas. Foo (pictured) joined Havas Group in 2018 as director of client services for the creative business and his appointment was part of a management structure to bring together creative, media, digital and public relations under the Havas Village umbrella previously. He was promoted to GM at the end of 2019, succeeding Joseph Chua who left to join Aiken Digital.

Foo told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE previously that his vision for 2020 was to strengthen the agency's creative product and inculcate a sense of pride for the talent and clients who work with the agency. A year later, Havas Group acquired BLKJ in February to form BLKJ Havas and Foo began working with the new team. 

Jacqui Lim, CEO of Havas Group Singapore, told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE that she still fondly remembers the things Foo wanted to achieve when he decided to join Havas a few years ago to lead the creative business under the Havas Village.

"He more than achieved these goals as a true believer in the power of integration, while always putting clients at the heart of all that he does. It's been a privilege to work together with Jude and we thank him for all the positive difference he made to the people and business in his time here and am sure he will continue to flourish in his next chapter," she added.

Meanwhile, BLKJ Havas CEO Rowena Bhagchandani said Foo's time with the agency, he has impressed both BLKJ Havas and clients with his passion and commitment. "We wish him all the very best in his future endeavours and are confident our paths will cross again," he added. At BLKJ Havas, Foo oversaw the Great Eastern and Changi Airport Group accounts.

Before Havas, Foo was with GOVT as business director where he led the growth and integration of the agency’s account management, planning, digital and social capabilities. Prior to that, he led the Changi Airport Group account at JWT Singapore. He was also with Ogilvy and Tribal DDB. Among the list of clients Foo has worked with during his career include National Gallery Singapore, MINI Asia, General Mills Southeast Asia, Coca-Cola, Health Promotion Board, and Danone-Dumex.
