Bite promotes Rosemary Merz to Hong Kong GM

Bite has promoted group director Rosemary Merz to general manager, reporting to Paul Mottram, EVP of Bite Asia Pacific.

Merz takes charge of Bite’s Hong Kong office, the agency's biggest in the region, and will lead the development of its content-based marketing services, public relations and social media.

Meanwhile, group director Karen Coleman has also been named general manager for Australia, reporting also to Mottram.

Coleman joined the company in 2007 as a consultant and has since risen steadily in the organization. In her new role she takes on full P&L and team responsibility for Bite’s award-winning Australia business, which has doubled in revenues and profits over the last four years.

Commenting on the promotions, Mottram said: “At a time of huge change in the marketing communications landscape, Karen and Rosemary have proven themselves to be accomplished client and team leaders.

"They both combine content and storytelling skills with huge appetites to find new ways to deploy that content for measurable results on behalf of Bite’s clients."
