Ben Poole exits MEC head of Interaction role in APAC

Ben Poole, MEC’s head of Interaction, Asia Pacific has left the role after six years with the company.According to sources, he will be taking on a global role within the MEC network.As head of interaction, Poole was responsible for MEC's digital offering across Asia Pacific. He was tasked with evolving the agency’s digital competency, developing its people and adding value to clients which include Colgate-Palmolive, Mercedes-Benz, Singapore Airlines, SingTel, Telkomsel, Chevron, Citibank, Sony and Chanel.Prior to that he was head of digital at Mediacom for 10 months where he was heading up the international team at MediaCom Interaction. He was in charge of helping global & european clients such as Nokia, Shell, Nikon, P&G’s digital marketing efforts. Poole also held the role of head of planning at Mediacom for over two years.Earlier this year Stephen Li, MEC's APAC CEO also left the agency to lead the Asia Pacific region as its CEO of OMD. Replacing Li is Peter Vogel.Marketing has reached out to MEC for more comments.
