BBH's Elrick calls it a day

BBH Asia Pacific's regional executive creative director Steve Elrick (pictured) will be stepping down from his role next year, with the agency announcing a replacement plan.Russell Barett will be heading up the India office while Johny Tan and Scott McClelland will head up China and Singapore respectively.The regional management change comes months after Publicis Groupe snapped up BBH after buying out 51% share, making it a Publicis Groupe agency.The agency recently hired Australian creative director Noah Regan to take on the role of creative director of BBH's Asia Pacific team.According to Charles Wigley, chairman of BBH Asia, Elrick has been vital to BBH's growth across the region."Steve will retain his connections with us in the longer term, acting as a consultant and adviser on key projects and clients," Wigley said.Elrick said his future plans included personal creative challenges which might even involve him going back to school be it film or art.Elrick added: "After 15 years in the role I think it's time for me to step back and let the guys be magnificent."
