BBH's planning lead exits

Frank Reitgassl, head of strategy and managing partner at Bartle Bogle Hegarty will be leaving the agency come August 2014.

Reitgassl will be heading to Europe to take on the role of strategy director at Mondelez, he confirmed to Marketing.

BBH will be announcing internal responsibilities within the department and new hires very shortly, said the agency.

Reitgassl (pictured) has held the role for over four years and prior to that was planning director at the agency for more than three years. He transferred from BBH’s London office, where he was working for over six years, to the APAC office in 2006.

He has worked on several of BBH’s major clients such as Chupa Chups (Perfetti van Melle), Axe, Surf, Vaseline, Dutch Lady and Kronenbourg 1664 amongst others.

" I can’t say anything but good things about my almost 15 years at BBH. I’ll be forever grateful for having been given the opportunity to work on some of the world’s best brands and to learn from the world’s best people in the industry [...] But I’m equally excited about my new role. Mondelez is an exciting company, owning great and iconic global brands," said Reitgassl.

Charles Wigley, BBH Asia Chairman added that Reitgassl “is a BBH stalwart and has been a great teacher and friend. We are really proud of him and have no doubt he will be fantastic in his new role.”

Earlier, BBH’s managing partner and regional business director Ara Hampartsoumian has also left the agency and taken the role of  managing director of  TBWA\Singapore.
