BBDO Malaysia appoints iris' Frederick Aloysius to head up account management

BBDO Malaysia has named Frederick Aloysius (pictured) head of account management, where he will lead the servicing team and be responsible for the day to day operations of the team, BBDO's spokesperson confirmed to A+M. He reports to general manager Farrah Harith-McPherson and replaces Andrea Ma who joined Grab as creative planner, according to her LinkedIn.Prior to BBDO, Aloysius was business director at iris Worldwide for approximately two years, according to his LinkedIn. Before that, he was business director at Ogilvy Malaysia for about a year, during which he managed and grew key clients such as BMW, Heineken Malaysia and Allianz Malaysia. He was also group brand director at McCann Erikson for approximately two years, leading the Petronas Dagangan business.Aloysius also had a stint in the client side, helming the marketing role of Tune Money where he managed the relationship between Tune Money and AirAsia, both of which own AirAsia BIG. Aloysius also worked at Arc Worldwide and Bates Malaysia.In a statement to A+M, iris Singapore's managing director Sorcha John confirmed that Aloysius has been with the agency for the past two years and wishes him the very best in his new journey. "Iris manages its Malaysia operations from Singapore.
