Liu boasts a wealth of management experience before his latest position at BBDO. Previously, he was vice president and executive creative director at Havas. Speaking of his latest appointment, Liu said he was looking forward to producing great works for clients.

“I am very glad to join BBDO. I have always felt the passion and persistence of BBDO to great creativity. Finding the most efficient solution to help clients accumulate brand value and achieve sales goals is the core of creative work. I hope that in the future, we can work with the team to create more great work for our clients," said Liu.
BBDO said Liu's appointment will create a new balance between rationality and sensibility, allowing BBDO's creative advantages to better integrate with clients' business issues, and create more unique and effective work.
“Among the Taiwanese creatives that I know, Hoho can be regarded as the representative of ‘a low-profile person, with high-profile works’. I am very glad and honoured to invite him to join the creative leadership team of BBDO Greater China," commented Leong Wai Foong, BBDO Greater China chairman and CCO.
Earlier this month, BBDO Greater China made a senior appointment as Elvis Li joined as general manager of energy BBDO Shanghai. He joined the BBDO Group with the belief that China’s digital environment has changed the nature of brand-building, and that marketers now have a unique opportunity to embrace creativity that enables them to achieve both long-term brand building as well as drive immediate sales.
