From tomorrow onwards, BBC World News and BBC.com will launch ‘Live the Story,' its new brand positioning, launching a major global marketing campaign for it.
The campaign, will run across television, print, online, radio, out of home and experiential media. It will also span consumer and trade media mediums with particular focus on markets such as Singapore and Hong Kong in the region. Additional activity will be seen in markets such as Germany as well as the across other European markets and the US.
The ‘Live the Story' campaign highlights BBC's international network of journalists and the TVC features BBC correspondents narrating a news story, telling the audience what it feels like to experience a particular news story.
Chris Davies, sales and marketing director, BBC Global News said: "Our correspondents and presenters live through the most amazing, terrifying, and sometimes life-changing moments so that they can bring these experiences directly to our audiences. Who better then to be the focus of both our brand campaign and of our marketing efforts."
The digital, print and OOH elements follow the theme of the television ad, offering viewers a layer of interactivity.
In January, BBC World News re-launched from Broadcasting House in central London, with new studios, new programmes and a refreshed line-up of presenters.
