Audi Singapore shortlists 3 agencies for creative business

Audi Singapore has short listed three agencies for an ongoing creative pitch. Confirming the move to Marketing, an Audi spokesperson said the company received proposals from incumbent agency Publicis Singapore, DDB and We Are Social Singapore. Currently, the pitch is ongoing and is set to conclude this month.The spokesperson added that the call for the pitch was part of its corporate governance to re-pitch on contracts that extend to three years.The pitch follows the recent appointment of Rudi Venter as general manager of marketing of Audi Singapore. Venter replaces Anna Bory, who took on the role of head of marketing promotion at Audi China. Prior to the appointment, Venter was director of marketing at Audi Malaysia, according to his LinkedIn.Last year, Audi Singapore picked Publicis Singapore to handle its social media business after a pitch. This was for a period of two years with an option to extend for another. Publicis Singapore is also the current brand agency for Audi. Prior to the appointment, Zeno Group was handling its social media duties.Meanwhile, Audi Singapore works with PHD Singapore for media duties. PHD bagged the account in June last year in a Volkswagen pitch to manage all eight VW Group brands. This included Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Skoda, Porsche, Bentley, VW Commercial Vehicles and MAN.Earlier this year, BMW Asia appointed Publicis Groupe agency Leo Burnett Singapore as its creative partner for the regional market.
