Audemars Piguet chooses media shop

Luxury watch maker Audemars Piguet has appointed OMD as its media agency for Singapore and Malaysia.

The contract is for a period of two years and OMD will be tasked to handle strategic media buying and planning across both markets. Prior to the appointment, media planning and buying was mostly housed internally under Audemars Piguet.

Stefanie Ng, marketing manager of Audemars Piguet said that Singapore is a luxury shoppers paradise and hence, a huge market for fine watches, adding that the brand was set to boost its presence in the key markets of Singapore and Malaysia, going ahead.

Both agency and client declined to reveal the size of the account.
