Ate bolsters biz growth with senior hiresThe Ate Group, a Singapore-based communications agency, has made two senior appointments to oversee and manage its business growth. Previously the APAC business development director and partner of Lewis Public Relations, Daniel White joined as business development director. He comes on board together with public relations director Suzy Goulding, who joined the agency from Young & Rubicam.EDB searches for PR agencyThe Economic Development Board (EDB) is calling for a public relations pitch for Contact Singapore's public relations and marketing efforts in the UK and Ireland. The contract will last for a year, with the option to extend for another. EDB had earlier called for a creative, media and digital pitch. The final shortlist is expected to be released by beginning of August.Property firm goes mobile with HaikuSingapore-based real estate developers Bukit Sembawang has roped in software company Haiku to develop a mobile site as part of the company's digital marketing strategy. The mobile site, a first digital step for the firm, was implemented to enhance interaction with customers and future investors and to promote new launches. Additionally, it is also using QR codes on relevant contents such as brochures or video tours.Freemantle partners up with Imagination TVFreemantleMedia Australia has formed a partnership with Imagination Television, a New Zealand-based TV production company. With the agreement, Imagination Television will become the exclusive New Zealand firm for all FreemantleMedia formats. Both companies will also work together to develop new content for its Kiwi audience to be distributed globally. The partnership agreement is effective immediately.
