Akamai calls regional PR pitch

Web services provider Akamai has called a regional PR pitch spanning multiple markets in APAC.The markets include Australia/New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Japan, Korea.Akamai told Marketing the contract would be for a year and it is looking to appoint the agency that "would best support the requirements in each market."Some of the duties would include creating a bigger brand awareness and handling local execution of PR campaigns for Akamai.Akamai has been working with Lewis PR in Singapore and Hong Kong for the past two years.Lewis PR will also be taking part in the pitch.Last year, the company appointed Frederic Moraillon as vice president of marketing for Asia Pacific and Japan.
