MicroAd Singapore, an advertising platform company that provides optimisation solutions for online display advertising, has launched a new branch office located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Citing reasons such as the constant growth of Malaysia’s digital advertising market and receiving requests from various clients for Malaysia’s market, the company aims to extend its services to more advertisers and to better facilitate their clients’ needs through localisation.
At the end of 2015, MicroAd attained more than 2000 clients in Southeast Asia, according to the agency.
Kosuke Sogo, managing director of APAC, said, “There are strong local players in Malaysia, similar to the Vietnam and Indonesia markets. Some of the big brands are shifting their budget from traditional media to digital marketing, thus I feel that there is potential in Malaysia’s market.”
“We have given ourselves target revenues to achieve, 2 million USD in 2016, 4 million USD in 2017, and 7 million USD in 2018 and we do see a lot of prospects in the Malaysia’s market,” he added.
