Adobe appoints Tegel to new role

Adobe Systems Incorporated has appointed Craig Tegel (pictured) as vice president, Adobe Worldwide Field Operations and regional president of Adobe Japan and APAC operations. He was previously president of Adobe Japan. Adobe has integrated field operations in Japan and APAC to drive sales and support for enterprise and channel customers across the combined region. Tegel will report to Matt Thompson, senior vice president of worldwide field operations. He has served as president of Adobe’s Japan operations since 2009 and has held a number of global roles for Adobe in the Asia Pacific and northern Europe regions. Tegel has also previously worked for Sun Microsystems as marketing director for the Australia and New Zealand region.

ECCO shoes all over SMRT trains

Leading Scandinavian shoe company ECCO has decked up two SMRT trains with promotional materials that emphasise the brand's strength in comfort and quality. An interactive contest has also been launched where participants have a chance to win Apple iPad's. The campaign runs for two weeks and will feature the brand's Autumn/Winter 2012 collection.

Nubox opens new store

Nubox, an arm of Newstead Technologies, will be relaunching Nubox@Funan DigitaLife Mall at Funan DigitaLife Mall. The Nubox store at Funan DigitaLife Mall started as an Apple Authorised Reseller in 2008 and has 11 stores so far. Customers will be able to get the full range of Apple products, accessories and software. To celebrate the opening of Nubox@Funan DigitaLife Mall, Nubox will be holding the grand finals of "Nubox Super Size Challenge" at the store on 27 October 2012 and promotions from 26 October to 28 October 2012.

AchieveGlobal appoints VP for Asia

AchieveGlobal, provider of corporate soft-skills training, has named Johanna Kim Stafford as vice president for Asia. Based in Singapore, Stafford will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the firm's regional operations across Australia, Singapore, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. She will report directly to AchieveGlobal president and CEO Sharon Daniels and focus on driving and reinforcing AchieveGlobal's capabilities in leadership development, sales performance and customer experience strategies.
