Adidas has launched a campaign in conjunction with the upcoming BNP Paribas WTA Finals. Called #CreateYourCourt, the event featured a women-only workout experience, joined by globally-known tennis players such as Angelique Kerber, Garbiñe Muguruza and Simona Halep. The campaign was developed and organised in conjunction with The Secret Little Agency (TSLA), which was appointed in September.
The event saw a turnout of 300 women and has also garnered more than 300 Instagram posts to date.
The activation aimed to elevate the event into a multi-sensory experience and saw participants being guided through customised workout routines. Fitness influencers also co-led the work out sessions. China Square, located in the central business district, was transformed into a workout court.
The activation involved a custom built, interactive LED court with video installations and bespoke soundtracks. While warming up for their workout, participants could also engage in a virtual reality holoball game, get drinks from a juice bar or get their hair braided at a braid bar. The campaign also saw TSLA’s programming team, led by Tracy Phillips, developing joint partnerships with reknowned names in Adidas training such as Azima Azmi and Grace Sagaya, to create unique workout experiences based on the routines of global tennis starts were created.
“It is amazing to see women in Singapore come together for Create Your Court. We wanted to inspire them to challenge themselves, break traditional mindsets on what training should be and have fun while breaking a sweat at this event. We look forward to growing our community of women in fitness here with the various initiatives we have planned,” Peter Stastny, commercial director of Adidas Singapore said.
“The central idea of the experience was really to break the traditional mould of the court. We wanted something dynamic, interactive and ultimately – immersive. Our technology and event programming team really came through for this and the result is something we are very happy with,” Mavis Neo, creative director at The Secret Little Agency, said.
