AdAsia selects WE Communications for Greater China expansion

WE Communications has announced it will help drive awareness for Singapore-headquartered startup AdAsia Holdings in Greater China, as the brand looks to position itself as the leading technology company with solutions in artificial intelligence and advertising.

The agency will be responsible for providing communications services in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, including for the AdAsia Digital Platform and CastingAsia.

As the regional hub, WE Hong Kong is tasked with lifting the brand’s profile in the business and financial sector as it prepares for IPO following a recent US$12 million series A funding round.

“We're looking to establish and maintain a strong focus in the region, and see WE Communications as an ideal extension of our communications team,” said Chris Lu, communications manager of AdAsia Holdings. “Our cultures are very much in line with each other – with people a key focus for both sides, and we will seek to leverage on the team's dynamism and expertise to further drive our efforts.”

WE will work with AdAsia’s communications team to articulate and reinforce the brand’s mission to boost the industry standard and enable marketers, advertisers and publishers to leverage on intelligent tools and solutions to drive business outcomes.

“As a communications company with technology in our DNA, we look to partner with brands who are driving innovation, and using technology to enhance the needs of users, and revolutionise their industries. AdAsia certainly shows potential in harnessing the motion driving their environment, and we are excited to help them enter the next phase of their brand journey,” said Emma Richards, VP of regional technology lead of WE APAC.

One For All, a member of WE Communications’ global affiliate programme, will assist AdAsia with media relations in Taiwan as part of the Greater China retainer.
