AdAsia names marketing head for SEA region

Shuhei Yamamura will be relocating from Japan to Singapore to take on the newly created role, which will see him head up all marketing and sales activities for AdAsia across Southeast Asia. He will be reporting to Kosuke Sogo , CEO of AdAsia Holdings.

His immediate priority in his new role would be to lead the company's expansion into new Asian markets and drive products sales, specifically, AdAsia Holdings' newly launched Digital Platform.  The move signifies AdAsia Holdings' commitment to expand its Southeast Asian operations beyond Thailand and Singapore into other high-growth potential markets in Hong Kong, Vietnam , Indonesia , Taiwan and Japan .

Yamamura joins from Scigineer, Softbank's digital marketing company in Tokyo . He was in charge of product marketing including dynamic creative and audience targeting as chief product officer and was engaged in business development activities throughout the Southeast Asian region.

Yamamura (pictured) boasts a career spanning more than  17 years of experience. He has worked in a variety of multinational corporations such as the likes of Wacoal Corporation and Recruit Corporation, where he was strongly inspired by the huge potential of internet advertisement. Since 2007, he has produced Ad-tech services focusing on display advertisement in several companies.

"We wanted someone who could use his vast experience in to generate product sales in the Advertising Technology sector in South East Asia . We believe Shuhei Yamamura's talent and passion would best take AdAsia Holdings to new heights," said Sogo , CEO, AdAsia Holdings .
