Ada names head of analytics and consulting to develop tailored industry solutions

Axiata Digital’s integrated digital marketing business, analytics. data. advertising (ada), has appointed Vittorio Furlan (pictured) as head of analytics and consulting. In his new role, Furlan will further expand ada's analytics practice and develop tailored industry solutions for clients to help them extract value from data to drive tangible results.According to ada, these solutions will enable brands to solve their most challenging problems and capture their most promising opportunities through data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning.Furlan previously led the growth of Ernst & Young’s (EY) data and analytics business, during which he worked directly with regional and local companies including Celcom, Golden Agri-Resources, Australian National Broadband Network, QBE, Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Barclays bank. Prior to joining EY, Furlan also worked within the data and analytics practice for Accenture.In a statement to A+M, Furlan said the role is a "fresh and unique opportunity" to help clients with traditional consulting. "The world is changing and business will face more and more the need to augment their own data in order to delight their customers. Ada and its analytics practice are in a prime position to help business doing so," he said.Furlan added that his vision is to enrich the team with industry experts and business and analytics consultants, giving clients a unique combination of industry knowledge and actionable insights.
