The acquisition comes at a significant time for the marketing industry where the shift from traditional to digital marketing solutions is accelerating at a rapid rate.
Brian Whipple, senior managing director of Accenture Interactive, said this acquisition enables Accenture Interactive to deliver an expanded set of end-to-end services to brands and organisations across Greater China and Asia Pacific region.
“The addition of the PacificLink companies is a bold and strategic move to scale our business in the region and strengthen our ability to meet the growing digital demands of our clients.”
Jason Chau, managing director, Accenture Interactive Greater China, added there it was a move designed to address the needs of CMOs and CIOs as they strive to bridge the gap between marketing and digital technologies.
"This is top of mind for many of our local clients," Chau said.
"They will benefit from an even broader set of digital capabilities that we can deliver from our emerging digital capabilities hub in Hong Kong as well as Accenture’s Digital Center of Excellence in Shanghai and through our digital content marketing operations team in Dalian. We believe that this provides a strong network of digital capabilities to serve our clients across Greater China.”
