Filipino food creator Abi Marquez has added another international milestone to her growing portfolio, becoming the first Filipino collaborator for Los Angeles-based kitchen workwear brand Hedley & Bennett.
Known online as the "Lumpia Queen", Marquez has built a global following through cooking content that celebrates Filipino cuisine in a format designed for digital audiences. Her latest partnership sees that cultural storytelling extend beyond content and into product collaboration through the launch of the Abi Marquez x Hedley & Bennett apron.
The collaboration marks a first for both parties. For Marquez, it represents another step in her efforts to bring Filipino food and culture to global audiences. For Hedley & Bennett, it introduces a distinctly Filipino narrative into a collaboration programme that has previously featured major entertainment franchises, sports properties, chefs, artists and digital creators.

"This collaboration means so much to me because it brings together two things I love: cooking and sharing Filipino culture with the world," Marquez said. "I've always believed that the kitchen is one of the best places to tell our stories, and I hope this apron inspires more people to cook with confidence, creativity, and pride."
Rather than centring solely on product functionality, the collaboration positions the apron as a symbol of Filipino creativity and pride, designed for home cooks, creators and food enthusiasts.
Hedley & Bennett has built a reputation for premium aprons and kitchen workwear used by chefs, restaurants and home cooks. Over the years, the company has expanded its cultural relevance through collaborations spanning entertainment, fashion, sport and food, including partnerships with Disney, Superman, MLB, NFL, ONE PIECE, Star Wars, Friends and Bob's Burgers, alongside creator-led collections with culinary personalities such as Kenji Lopez-Alt, Cassie Yeung and Nigel Kabvina.
Marquez's inclusion in that roster highlights the growing visibility of Filipino creators on the international stage. Through a combination of approachable recipes, playful content formats and personal storytelling, she has amassed millions of followers across social media while helping introduce Filipino flavours to audiences around the world.
According to the announcement, the apron serves as a tribute to the community that has supported Marquez from her earliest cooking videos through to her current position.
Managed by NYMA Talent Management, Marquez has become one of the Philippines' most successful digital food creators, building a community of millions while positioning Filipino cuisine at the centre of her content strategy.
