Foong is the head of media and budget management in Maxis and has served more than 14 years in the telecommunications industry.“Both represent core sectors of the marketing communications industry and bring experience and expertise in their respective fields to ABC. Their commitment towards independently audited and verified circulation figures as key ingredients for sound marketing communications planning and decision making will move ABC further along the course that we have charted in the past two years,” outgoing chairman, Karthi Palanisamy, said.Fan, who is also the chairman of the Audit Committee, said that there was a 6% slide in the average net circulation per publishing day for newspapers (Paid Category) circulated in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak in comparison with the previous audit period from January 2014 to June 2014.
