Global pharmaceuticals and health care products company Abbott Singapore has appointed MEC to handle its media buying and planning. MEC will be taking on duties for a period of two years.
The appointment is for the Singapore market and does not include social media, which is handled by the brand in house.
Marketing understands that a pitch was called in late September this year. According to Adex, the account is understood to be approximately SG$6 million.
Both Abbott Singapore and MEC declined to comment on the appointment. The incumbent for the account is Havas Media, who held the account for four years.
