Abbott Singapore concludes media pitch

Global pharmaceuticals and health care products company Abbott Singapore has appointed MEC to handle its media buying and planning. MEC will be taking on duties for a period of two years.The appointment is for the Singapore market and does not include social media, which is handled by the brand in house.Marketing understands that a pitch was called in late September this year. According to Adex, the account is understood to be approximately SG$6 million.Both Abbott Singapore and MEC declined to comment on the appointment. The incumbent for the account is Havas Media, who held the account for four years.
