99.co has consolidated UrbanIndo under its brand. The brand unification will be carried out in stages, first with UrbanIndo's website housing under 99.co's domain, as well as incorporating 99.co's brand features. The decision aims to align the goals and workings of both Singapore and Indonesia operations, and as part of efforts to "legitimise and speed up digital adoption in Indonesia's market, and to cement 99.co as the go-to property platform".Recognising Indonesia as one of the fastest growing economies in Southeast Asia with a strong demand for property while having one of the highest number of Internet users in the world, Darius Cheung, CEO, 99.co stressed the need to bring this audience the convenience and speed of an online property search."In Indonesia, most of the players still rely on traditional ways to market and transact properties. As a young brand, we have the agility to move more quickly. We want to help people find homes faster and more efficiently than ever before," he added.99.co also announced its plans to diversify its offerings in both the Singapore and Indonesia market to offer solutions and value-added services to consumers. The brand unification follows 99.co's acquisition of UrbanIndo earlier this year. This was with the goal of bringing greater change for users, allowing consumers in both Singapore and Indonesia accessing 99.co’s database of home options. It will also bolster 99.co’s agent network in Indonesia through the support of over 4,000 property agents and key partner agencies such as Century21 and ERA Indonesia.
