Singapore-headquartered property site 99.co has partnered with Jetstar Asia Airways to roll out a first-of-its-kind property themed airplane, as part of a campaign to cement its leadership across the two markets. The plane is co-sponsored by Indonesian property developer Adhi Persada Properti and will be primarily flying the Singapore-Jakarta route for the next 12 months. Launched in 2015 in Singapore, the three-year-old listing portal has gained rapid popularity with consumers with its user centric design and user-first search algorithm. In January 2018, 99.co officially became the largest residential property portal in both Singapore and Indonesia after a successful acquisition of Indonesia’s largest property site UrbanIndo.com. The listing portal now has over 1.2 million active properties listed in Indonesia and over 150,000 active homes available for rent and sale at any one time in Singapore.CEO of 99.co Darius Cheung said “As a young brand in a rather saturated market, some consumers might still be unaware that 99.co now has the largest offerings of homes and could be missing out on great home options. In fact, we have thousand of properties listed exclusively on 99.co and can’t be found anywhere else. We decided to raise awareness by creating a unique and memorable experience for consumers with our first branded aircraft. In fact, we are the first local start-up in Singapore to embark on such aerial advertising efforts. We believe that this would be a great investment that will bring a lot of value to our community and deliver great returns to our partners as well”.“We are very proud to work with 99.co on this inaugural Jetstar property-themed flight, and for being the first property developer from Indonesia to do so. They have proven themselves in Indonesia as the largest sales network for developers. We know that Singapore is the gateway for business people to the Asia-Pacific region. By way of this cooperation, we hope to reach a bigger audience for them to know about Adhi Persada Properti and to choose us as a partner when it comes to property investment,” said Wahyuni Sutantri, director Adhi Persada Properti.Executive director at PropNex Realty KEO Kelvin Fong, chimed in “We’ve seen 99.co introduce many firsts to the industry with their offerings and this initiative is no different. This is the first property-themed plane we’ve witnessed and what a truly unique way to generate awareness and buzz! Right at the opportune time as well just as the property market is heating up.”According to Jetstar Asia’s head of commercial Francis Loi, this tie-in with 99.co is a very exciting development for the airline.“The Jakarta-Singapore route is one of the top three busiest routes in the world and we currently operate up to 30 weekly services between the two cities. Apart from the livery, customers on board the Jetstar Asia aircraft will also be able to learn more about 99.co inside the aircraft with - decals on the tray tables and - overhead cabins.”
