
Zenith China bolsters leadership with new senior appointments

Publicis Groupe's Zenith has bolstered its leadership in China with a series of new appointments, including Emily Xue stepping up as head of the Guangzhou office.
Xue joined Publicis Groupe as managing director for China back in 2022. Prior to that, she was the general manager of Wavemaker and helmed the role of general manager of MEC.
Meanwhile, a Zenith veteran, Cindy Wang also steps up as head of the Beijing office, whereas Riki Li has been promoted to chief strategy officer. All three of them will report to Christina Lu, Zenith China CEO.

Back in April, Publicis Groupe China has appointed Liza Zhang as CEO of MSL and Publicis Influence in China. Zhang was previously the managing director of MSL China and was promoted to her new role with expanded responsibilities.
In this newly created role, she will continue to report to Andy Ho, chief growth officer of Publicis Groupe China. Zhang will lead MSL China and Publicis Influence China and deliver continuous growth for both agencies and at the same time drive greater synergies between both agencies and create greater value for clients.
As the new leader of the two agency brands, Zhang will be managing a team of over 300 talents in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou. Her enlarged portfolio consists of MSL which specialises in strategic communications and reputation management and Publicis Influence which excels in influencer marketing and social media strategies, ensuring a holistic approach to client success.
