Weave designs glow-in-the-dark identity for Four Pillars’ Wild Isle Gin

Four Pillars has unveiled the latest release in its Distiller Series, Wild Isle Gin, created in partnership with New Zealand boutique distillery Island Gin. Long-time creative partner Weave was tasked with the label design and art direction for the launch campaign.
The gin draws inspiration from Great Barrier Island, with botanicals including seaweed, saltwater and Manuka honey. Weave’s packaging design reflects the island’s contrasts - rainforest by day, discovery by night - through a custom illustration that spans forests and oceans, highlighted by glow-in-the-dark details.
“We wanted the label to capture a sense of discovery to reflect NZ’s Great Barrier Island where the gin’s key botanicals originated from,” Darren Song, creative director at Weave, said. “It builds on the collectible legacy of the Distiller Series while remaining unmistakenly Four Pillars.”
The release marks the sixth instalment in Four Pillars’ Distiller Series, which has previously included Spice Trade Gin and Changing Seasons Gin.
“Our Distiller Series is one of our longest-running series and Weave has been our creative partner across all six gins now,” Millie Friend, brand manager at Four Pillars added. “Each gin is unique to the distilling partner and their home, botanicals and techniques, and Weave translate that into distinctive labels and art direction.”
