Viu Singapore claimed the coveted “Marketer of the Year” crown at the Marketing Excellence Awards 2022 with nine Gold, four Silver, and two Bronze wins.
Well-loved for bringing entertaining shows to market, the video streaming provider received plaudits for its campaigns "Again My Life (Back in Time)", "Viu to Win" and "Streaming made Sensational" across numerous categories including Excellence in Event Marketing, Excellence in Experiential Marketing, and many more.
Coming in at a close second was the iconic telecommunications brand Singtel with its campaigns "Singtel 5G SA: Making the Future a Reality", "Keep Every Moment going with hi!App" and "Power Up with Singtel 5G" that swept the jury off their feet, winning four Gold, one Silver, and two Bronze trophies in categories such as Excellence in Brand Awareness and Excellence in Content Marketing.
Hot on Singtel’s heels was the renowned Pan Pacific Hotels Group, bringing home two Gold, one Silver, and two Bronze trophies with the noteworthy campaign "Accelerate Programme - Using Data to Sprint out of the Pandemic" championing Excellence in Personalisation Marketing and Excellence in Data-Driven Marketing.
Other notable wins included Unilever, Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, CapitaLand Investment, Carousell, CPF Board, foodpanda Singapore, IHH Healthcare, Starhub and Jewel Changi Singapore.
