Vertixal rebrands to VX to reflect creative commerce shift

Vertixal, the digital and social arm of Vox Group, has rebranded to VX, marking a strategic shift to meet the growing demand for integrated creative and performance capabilities.

The move comes as brands increasingly seek unified solutions that blend storytelling with measurable outcomes, rather than working with separate creative and performance agencies.

Founded in 2020 as a digital extension of VoxEureka, VX has since evolved into a standalone agency with a team of over 30 consultants and in-house creatives. Today, it positions itself at the intersection of content and commerce, combining creative storytelling with data-driven performance to drive business growth.

“The marketing landscape has fundamentally changed. Brands don't want a creative agency and a performance agency, they want one team that owns both, grounded in data and delivered with agility,” said Dashwini Ravi (pictured middle, first row).

The rebrand also follows a series of new business wins secured through competitive pitches in the first quarter of 2026, reinforcing the agency’s evolved positioning.

New clients include Maybank Privilege, MBf Holdings, Horlicks and the social media remit for NIPSEA Group, expanding VX’s footprint across sectors such as property, F&B, corporate, lifestyle and fintech.

These additions join an existing portfolio that includes brands such as Skyline Luge KL, OPPO APAC, PUMA Malaysia, Anchor Food Professionals and Gamuda Land.

VX will continue to operate with a dual mandate, functioning as an independent digital, creative and social agency while also serving as the technical counterpart to VoxEureka. Together, the agencies offer clients full-funnel capabilities, spanning reputational storytelling through to performance-led digital execution.

According to Jonathan Tan, the rebrand signals the agency’s coming of age within the group’s broader ecosystem. “What started as a bold venture in 2020 has grown into a formidable agency with its own identity, its own clients, and a team of more than 30 specialists."

He added, "It gives Vox Group the technical capability to compete in this modern marketing era, allowing us to serve both reputational and marketing mandates under one roof."

Operating across Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, VX is now positioning itself as a next-generation digital growth agency, designed to meet the demands of a marketing landscape where creativity, commerce and performance are increasingly intertwined.

In March 2025, VoxEureka and VX (still known as Vertixal at the time) moved to strengthen their integrated capabilities through a series of senior appointments and internal promotions. The group expanded its consumer and corporate practices with new account directors and returning leadership talent, while also bolstering its management bench through key promotions.

At the same time, Vertixal sharpened its performance marketing capabilities with senior hires focused on data-driven strategy, omnichannel execution and customer experience, alongside internal creative promotions.

During that same period, VoxEureka announced its expansion into Singapore and Indonesia, reinforcing its ambition to build a strong foothold in Southeast Asia. Leading the charge in these markets are industry veterans Tiara Robyn Chew and Mutia Taufieq.
