The list of finalists has been officially launched on the Marketing Excellence Awards Singapore website, now readily accessible for your perusal. In its 12th iteration, MEA continues to celebrate the nation's outstanding campaigns and remarkable talents that have showcased their brilliance, innovation, and resilience amidst the challenges of the past year.
In response to valuable feedback from the previous year and in recognition of the field's dynamic evolution, two new categories have been introduced: ‘Excellence in Anniversary Marketing’ and ‘Excellence in Omnichannel’. This has brought the grand total of categories to 42 where the finalists will contend for the gold, silver, and bronze trophies, with the ultimate honour of "Marketer of the Year" awaiting the highest achiever across all categories.
Our esteemed panel of judges, consisting of 20 accomplished client-side marketing professionals, meticulously evaluated the entries in each category to ensure a fair and rigorous selection process.
As a representative from the jury panel, Gen Lehn, CEO, Asia of LeCreuset said that the involved marketers have been setting the bar higher each year. "The creativity and innovation displayed by the marketers were truly remarkable. From engaging social campaigns to experiential events that left a lasting impression, this year’s entries were outstanding. These campaigns demonstrated a deep understanding of their target audience and effectively conveyed the brand message. Our job to select the best wasn’t easy,” she said.
Jean Michoud, SVP direct & digital distribution, Asia market of Liberty Mutual Insurance added that the diversity of the entrants’ ideas highlighted that agencies and brands are tapping into a wide range of perspectives to create meaningful connections with their audiences. "The integration of data-driven strategies enables brands to make faster and better decisions and create highly personalised experiences. Kudos to all the creative minds and strategic thinkers who are truly elevating the art and the science of marketing,” he said.
Mansi Chopra, marketing director of Thunes also spoke highly of the entries. She explained that this year's entries showcased remarkable strides in marketing excellence.
