Unilever and Midland Realty were awarded the titles of ‘Mob-Ex Champion – Brand’ of the Southeast Asia and North Asia regions respectively. Winning seven gold, six silver, and three bronze trophies, Unilever wowed the crowd in categories such as Best Campaign – Consumer Goods, Best Mobile Campaign for a Specific Audience, and Best Use of Real Time Marketing.
Their campaigns included ‘The Magnum Pleasure Auction’, ‘Teens Do the #RexonaFirstDayVibe’, and ‘Surf’s Livestreamer Collaboration: “From One Wise Mom to Another”’.
Ushered in by their campaign ‘Midland VR Property Tour’, Midland Realty also made a resounding impact with four gold and one silver trophies in multiple categories, such as Best Campaign – B2C, Best COVID-19 Related Campaign, and Best Use of Mobile – Customer Engagement.
HSBC Singapore was close behind, having won two gold, one silver, and four bronze trophies, with their campaigns ‘HSBC Futureverse’, ‘Hex+’, and ‘Play for Good’. Club HKT was also a strong contender, with four silver and three bronze trophies from their campaigns ‘The Club Super App’ and ‘The Club Super App – Citi The Club Credit Card’. Procter & Gamble Indonesia, Eagle Property Management (CP), Kärcher Malaysia, blu by BCA Digital, Bytedance, Nestlé Nutrition, Wyeth Nutrition, CSL Mobile, Knoxport, Krungthai Bank, and Nestlé Indonesia were also among the brands that impressed the jury panel.
Aside from the brands, two agencies were bestowed the overall titles of ‘Mob-Ex Champion – Agency’. ADA Asia took the limelight for the Southeast Asia region, while Mindshare Hong Kong brought home the crown for North Asia. With two gold, five silver, and three Bronze trophies, ADA Asia had a memorable night thanks to their campaigns ‘The blu kid on the block’ and ‘#JadiWise Be Wise with blu’ for blu by BCA Digital, and ‘Sunlight Care: SMS Promotion for A Good Cause’ for Unilever Sri Lanka, in partnership with Mindshare Sri Lanka, for categories such as Best App Install Campaign and Best Original Content. Mindshare Hong Kong also secured four gold and one silver trophies with their campaign ‘Midland VR Property Tour’, in partnership with GroupM Nexus Hong Kong, for Midland Realty, in categories that included Best Direct to Consumer Campaign and Most Innovative Use of Mobile Technology.
DigiSalad Solutions was in runner-up with one gold, two silver, and two bronze trophies from their campaign ‘LP Club App 2.0 - Happy Shopping Formula’ for Eagle Property Management (CP). Kingdom Digital also made an impact with their two gold and one silver trophies with their campaign ‘Just PUZZI® Lah’ for Kärcher Malaysia. Other agencies, such as Leverate Group, MullenLowe Lintas Indonesia, Imagic Esolutions, CruiSo Digital Solutions, Dentsu, EssenceMediacom, iProspect Thailand, Mindshare Indonesia, Mindshare Philippines, and ESDlife Digital Solutions also gave the judges a strong and lasting impression.
