Uni-China Group has appointed Amy Wong (pictured) as its assistant general manager of group marketing and digital, reporting to Agnes Lung, executive director and group chief marketing and digital officer of Uni-China.

Despite being a replacement role, Wong's job scope has been significantly expanded. The position now encompasses digital transformation oversight in a group marketing capacity, working closely with the digital team to drive innovation across all business units.

Additionally, the role has been enhanced to include external affairs responsibilities, such as developing and driving high-quality corporate content for strategic partnerships with industry leaders. This ensures consistent brand messaging and professional representation across all external communications channels.

In her new role, Wong is tasked at developing and executing integrated marketing strategies across all group companies and business units; supporting brand positioning and messaging alignment across the group portfolio; collaborating with senior management on marketing budget allocation and ROI optimisation.

She is also responsible for coordinating with external agencies, vendors, and strategic marketing partners; managing and mentoring marketing and digital teams across different business units, as well as fostering cross-functional collaboration between marketing and other departments

Wong's role covers the overarching corporate brand of Uni-China Group while providing marketing support to other business units across their respective market segments. This includes maintaining brand consistency and strategic alignment across all divisions within the group's portfolio.

Wong said: "This role represents an exciting opportunity to integrate traditional marketing excellence with cutting-edge digital innovation. I look forward to working with our talented teams to elevate Uni-China Group's brand positioning and strengthen our external partnerships across all market segments."
