The Park Lane Hong Kong, a Pullman Hotel has partnered with Laureus Sport for Good Foundation to present the "Mind in Motion" charity photo exhibition. This aims to the city’s athletic spirit and the connection between art, sports and mental health.

Running from now until 31 December, this exhibition features the work of local photographer Brian Ching with mixed reality effects at Ebb & Flow’s Artist Playground.

One of the highlights is a photoshoot with 10 local elite and amateur athletes from diverse backgrounds. It aims to celebrate Hong Kong’s distinctive athletic spirit in the vibrant district of Causeway Bay, where major sporting events such as the Standard Chartered Marathon, Hong Kong Sevens, and Hong Kong Tennis Open take place.

Ching captures the diverse athletes of Causeway Bay who champion their lives through sports. His photography highlights how sports can serve as a vital support for mental well-being, aiming to narrate the stories of city athletes and include The Park Lane Hong Kong, a Pullman Hotel within these visual narratives.

The participating athletes include local footballer Philip Chan; tennis player Lynn Zhang Ling; Ng Kong Wan, former chairman of Hong Kong, China Rowing Association; break dancer C Plus; Angel Wong, the first Hong Kong female gymnast to compete in the Olympics; Tsz Kwan, the first professional female basketball player in Hong Kong; local sprinter Leung Kwan Yi; windsurfer Hayley Chan; Amy Chan, former Hong Kong badminton player and Laureus ambassador, and Walter Cheung, PR specialist who has completed 100 full marathons.

This initiative is also supported by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, integrating specially curated mixed reality effects that highlight the dynamics of each photograph, providing the audience with an immersive experience.

In addition to the photo exhibition, The Park Lane Hong Kong, a Pullman Hotel is amplifying its efforts to support the charity through a series of special promotions at Ebb & Flow.

Throughout September and October, the hotel will offer sports-themed cupcakes, with 20% of the proceeds donated to the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation.

During weekends and public holidays, guests can also enjoy a themed nutritious afternoon tea set, designed to celebrate the city’s dynamic sporting culture and raise awareness for wellness, with 10% of the revenue supporting the cause.

Additionally, guests who choose to make a donation while dining at Ebb & Flow will have their contributions matched by The Park Lane Hong Kong, a Pullman Hotel, doubling the impact.

These promotions will benefit Laureus Hong Kong’s development initiatives and the 2025 Model City Hong Kong thematic fund, supporting sports-for-development, youth programs, and mental health initiatives across the city.
