One of Australia’s most enduring women’s lifestyle brands is extending its presence into audio, with The Australian Women’s Weekly launching its first-ever podcast, Love Stories.

Hosted by deputy editor Tiffany Dunk, the video-led series extends The Weekly’s long-standing focus on storytelling into a new format, complementing its presence across magazines, digital, cookbooks, events, email and social.

Love Stories explores connection in its broadest sense, moving beyond romantic relationships to include family, friendship, community and self-love. The editorial direction leans into candid, personal conversations designed to reflect the complexities of modern relationships.

The debut episode features Jess Rowe and Peter Overton, who discuss long-term partnership, compromise and the realities behind enduring public and private lives.

Editor Sophie Tedmanson described the podcast as a natural evolution for the brand.

“Love has never been one size fits all, and these are the stories we love to tell at The Australian Women’s Weekly,” Tedmanson said. “This is a really special moment for The Australian Women’s Weekly - Love Stories is our very first podcast, marking a new chapter for a brand that has always been about connection, community, and telling women’s stories.”

Commercially, the podcast launches with Vixin Beauty as founding partner, aligning the brand with The Weekly’s established female audience.

“Love Stories is ultimately about connection, and that is something deeply personal to me,” Charmaine Caldwell, founder of Vixin Beauty, said.

“The Australian Women’s Weekly is a trusted voice for women, and partnering with them allows us to support conversations that celebrate real experiences, real relationships and the importance of self-care.”

According to the latest Roy Morgan readership data, The Australian Women’s Weekly reaches more than 1.66 million Australians monthly across platforms. Love Stories is available via iHeart and major podcast platforms, with new episodes released weekly.
