Spotify expands audio advertisements in HK with Httpool

Spotify is partnering with Httpool, an Aleph Group company, to expand its ad sales partnerships in Hong Kong. The channel offers advertising solutions for brands to reach its highly engaged audience of young, influential streamers, and leverage the rising power of audio. Httpool connects digital platforms, with advertisers and consumers in emerging, and countries.

Spotify’s streaming intelligence, consisting of unique data and insights on users’ streaming behaviours, allows advertisers to tailor their ads and message to resonate with the needs and mindsets of their audiences, based on the context in which they are listening.

Sea Yen Ong, Spotify’s head of sales of Southeast Asia, said: “We are thrilled to expand Spotify’s relationship with Httpool into Taiwan and Hong Kong. With itslocal coverage and market knowledge, we believe Httpool is the right strategic partner to represent Spotify Advertising in these markets. Httpool says that it has exclusive agreements with over 30 of the leading digital platforms, including Twitter, Meta, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, Spotify, and Twitch. Through these relationships, Httpool provides digital platforms with a sustainable and scalable way to monetise their advertising inventory in emerging countries, at little additional cost and complexity.
