Southern Cross Travel Insurance has appointed Sydney-based agencies This is Flow and Quantum Jump to lead its media and creative strategy across Australia and New Zealand, marking a significant step in the brand’s ambitions to grow beyond its home market.
Independent media agency This is Flow has been named media agency of record across both countries with creative responsibilities to be handled by Quantum Jump, a specialist in data-driven marketing and CRM.
SCTI has also renewed its long-standing partnership with Sedgwick Communications, which retains PR duties for the Australian market.
Jess Strange, chief customer officer at SCTI, said the new agency appointments will support the company’s next phase of expansion.
“All our agencies bring deep digital expertise and a strong focus on performance, which aligns perfectly with our customer-first philosophy,” she said.
This is Flow CEO Jimmy Hyett said the appointment continues a run of recent client wins and reinforces its position as one of the region’s leading independents.
“SCTI is the kind of brand we love to work with – ambitious, customer-centric and ready to push boundaries,” Hyett said. “Our mission is all about delivering a state of growth for our clients, and with SCTI, we have a chance to bring this to life across both countries, creating work that not only performs, but genuinely connects with travellers.”
Meanwhile, Sedgwick Communications will continue to provide strategic PR support, reinforcing the agency’s longstanding relationship with SCTI.
The appointments reflect a sharpened focus on cross-border brand building, with SCTI aiming to deepen its engagement with Australian travellers while maintaining leadership in New Zealand.
