Local postal service provider Singapore Post (SingPost) has appointed creative agency PROTOCOL to handle its upcoming 165th anniversary campaign as well as other creative and social duties from 1 April 2023. The appointment follows a pitch conducted in January.
The appointment will last for one year, ending on March 2024.
This year marks an important milestone for SingPost as it commemorates 165 years of postal services in Singapore this 2023. A number of activities have been lined up across different channels to engage customers and partners. The company will also be taking the opportunity to appreciate its staff, from its frontline postal workers to those working behind the scenes.
With operations in 15 markets today, it strives to provide innovative mail and logistics solutions in Singapore and around the world, according to the release.

“Our team is thrilled with the win. We were enamoured by SingPost’s willingness to explore innovative concepts and leverage the use of both digital domains and physical activations to reach a broader audience. We can’t wait to get started,” said Kelvin Kao, CEO and founder of PROTOCOL. MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out for more information.
In December, SingPost and Lazada Singapore signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to empower adoption of carbon efficient delivery options by consumers, small businesses, marketplace sellers, and entrepreneurs. Through this collaboration, Lazada merchants and consumers can look forward to the use of SingPost’s eco-friendly first-mile, last-mile and reverse options starting from April 2023.
This collaboration will see SingPost offering a more comprehensive suite of carbon efficient first-mile options, such as the innovative POPDrop that was unveiled today at the MOU signing ceremony. The newly developed POPDrop, an automated self-service drop off box fitted with in-built trackability and RFID technology, will enable merchants to ship with end-to-end tracking capabilities.
