Seven has elevated two of its long-serving team members, appointing Kate Amphlett as director of communications and marketing and Blake Barillaro as director of audience measurement and research.
Amphlett has been with Seven for nearly two decades and was appointed director of communications earlier this year. She has led major publicity campaigns across Seven’s entertainment, drama, lifestyle and reality programming and played a key role in the network’s corporate and brand initiatives.
Barillaro joined Seven in 2021 as insights manager and was promoted to head of digital audience data in 2024. He has been instrumental in the rollout of Australia’s evolving audience measurement systems, including VOZ and Ipsos iris, and has strengthened the network’s cross-platform content ratings capabilities.
Both Amphlett and Barillaro will report to Seven’s chief content officer, Brook Hall.
“Seven’s content team continues to impress with its depth and talent,” Hall said. “Kate and Blake have been an integral part of our team for many years, and it’s fantastic to see them stepping into these important roles.”
