R/GA strengthens Australian leadership with senior hires across tech, strategy and production

R/GA has bolstered its senior bench in Australia with three appointments across technology, strategy and production, as the creative innovation company accelerates growth under its new ownership.

Ben Martin joins as group technology director, Abigail Kwek as group strategy director, and Kerry Peterson as group director, production.

The hires are part of R/GA’s post-independence push following its buyout by private equity firm Truelink Capital, with a focus on scaling talent, building new products, deepening partnerships and pursuing acquisitions.

Martin was previously at Deloitte Digital leading frontend development on projects for brands including Bunnings, Orica and Travel Money Oz. His background also includes senior digital roles at Tesco UK and Coles Australia.

Kwek brings more than a decade of strategy experience across APAC, having led CX, brand and connections work for Telstra, Coles, Nissan, Mastercard, Grab and Spotify. She has held senior roles at TBWA, 72andSunny and Hogarth.

Peterson joins from Merkle, where she led the delivery team within the digital experience practice. She has 15 years’ experience in production, specialising in stakeholder engagement, governance and scope planning.
