Publicis Media has appointed Minsun Collier (pictured left) and Matthew Mills (pictured right) as the two senior client leads for its Adobe media account.

Minsun Collier, based in Sydney, will be responsible for the APAC region while Matthew Mills, based in Tokyo, will be taking on the Japan remit.

As gleaned from her LinkedIn profile, Collier is a senior leader, client consultant and media specialist with experience in accelerating business growth through the application of digital media, data, and technology. Prior to joining Publicis Groupe, she worked in various media agencies in key roles including national head of digital and national head of data and technology acceleration at MediaCom Australia.

“Adobe is one of the most trusted brands and innovative organisations in the world, which is why I’m thrilled to be leading the Adobe APAC team,” Collier said. She went on to add that the opportunity to lead and collaborate with the “brilliant marketing minds” at Adobe and find new and compelling ways to tell the brand’s story across the region is a special one.

Mills on the other hand is a media planning and investment professional, who has developed media models for leading global businesses which aims to drive deeper customer relationships, brand reputation and profit, as stated in a release to the press. Prior to his role with Publicis, Mills was the deputy managing director and executive director of international accounts of UM Japan, before which he was a client partner at MediaCom Australia. The bulk of his career, as gleaned from his LinkedIn profile, was at OMD Australia, where he held the roles of business director and head of communications planning over the span of nearly nine years.

Mills shared Collier’s excitement of joining Adobe at a key stage in its growth. “I can’t wait to apply our industry first growth plan, integrating media, content, technology and advanced analytics to accelerate customer growth for the business,” he said.

Publicis Media won Adobe’s international media account across EMEA, APAC and Japan in March 2023 after an extensive review, as stated by the media group, and will jointly operate a new global centre of excellence to service the account.

On the appointment, Publicis Groupe’s APAC CEO, Jane Lin-Baden, said that Collier is a true media evangelist who helps businesses navigate the changing media landscape and sets them up for success. “We are thrilled to be welcoming Adobe to our portfolio of flagship brands in APAC,” she added.

Publicis Groupe’s Japan CEO, Gareth Mulryan, added that Mills has the smarts and curiosity that is needed to lead Adobe in Japan, which is its second largest global market. “He’ll work closely with Publicis global on all levels to help drive growth in a key market. It’s an exciting time for Adobe in Japan and we’re honoured to be part of their journey here,” Mulryan added.

On the leadership front, Publicis Groupe's creative agency, Le Pub named Hanh Kanssen, general manager and Cyril Louis, executive creative director. Louis had already been part of Publicis Groupe for a year before he joined the Le Pub team this year. Prior to Le Pub, he was the global group creative director for ad agency Elephant for over one year, based in the US. Kanssen's deep and native insight into Asian and Vietnamese consumer lifestyles and experiences, along with her passion for creating meaningful connections between brands and their consumers, made her a perfect fit for the role. Her career spans Asia, Europe, and North America where she helped drive significant growth for global brands.
