Publicis Groupe Hong Kong has promoted Christopher Lee (pictured) to its new chief creative officer, reporting to Tom Kao, CEO of Publicis Groupe Hong Kong.

Within his new role, Lee is responsible for pushing the creative excellence of the Publicis Groupe Hong Kong. He is also tasked at creating media-agnostic ideas and creative platforms that have longevity; and creating creative commercial solutions for the groupe’s range of clients.

His current clients span several key sectors, including finance, insurance, airlines, and brands representative of Hong Kong.

Lee joined Publicis in 2020 as Saatchi & Saatchi’s group creative director. After one year he was promoted to Publicis Groupe Hong Kong’s executive creative director.

During the time as the group’s executive creative director, he has worked with renowned brands such as Cathay, HSBC and more.

Prior to Publicis Groupe, he was the creative lead of Grey Group Greater China, where he worked with clients including HSBC Commercial Banking and Hong Kong Tourism Board.

Kao said: “Lee is young, super talented with unmatched ambition and energy. I am happy Lee is on my side and I know he is someone I would go to war with. I trust that Lee will be the creative torchbearer for Publicis Groupe and our industry in Hong Kong for the years to come."

Meanwhile, Lee said: “Words can’t express how excited I am. To me, this opportunity is a promise that our teams will continue to create creative commercial solutions for our clients. Also, I won’t forget to take time to celebrate with Publicis Groupe!”
