Prudential shows every promise has a story worth protecting

Prudential has launched a new regional marketing campaign, “Promises, made real.”, across eight markets in Asia, as the insurer seeks to highlight the human stories and commitments behind every policy.
Developed with Dentsu Creative Singapore, the campaign aims to reposition insurance beyond financial protection by focusing on the promises people make to themselves and their loved ones, from securing a child's future and supporting family members to taking greater control of health and financial wellbeing.
At the centre of the campaign is the idea that every policy represents a promise, with Prudential positioning its role as helping customers turn those commitments into greater confidence, protection and peace of mind.

The integrated campaign brings these stories to life through a suite of creative assets across digital, social, premium outdoor, airports and large-format brand experiences. The campaign also features real-life examples from Prudential’s markets, highlighting areas such as customer service innovations, claims support and healthcare solutions.
Designed to balance regional consistency with local relevance, the campaign uses a modular creative platform that allows individual markets across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan to tailor content, formats and durations based on local audiences while maintaining a unified brand message.
A diverse, multi-ethnic cast features throughout the campaign, reflecting the communities Prudential serves across Asia. In selected markets, campaign executions featuring Cantopop singer and actor Eason Chan will complement the wider regional rollout.
“At the heart of the campaign is a simple idea: every policy represents a promise. It is a promise to protect a family, provide for a child’s future or support loved ones when they need it most. Prudential’s role is to help customers keep those promises by giving them greater financial confidence and helping them protect what matters most," said Priscilla Ng, group chief customer and marketing officer at Prudential plc.
In tandem, Clay Schouest, chief strategy officer, APAC, dentsu, said the campaign was built to create a flexible creative system that could bring one shared brand idea to life across different markets while reflecting the complexity and diversity of Asia.
“With ‘Promises, made real’, Prudential is choosing to tell its story at scale, and it is a privilege for dentsu to help shape a defining chapter in this story that puts people at the heart of the brand. Bringing this to life meant that we had to build for complexity because that is the reality of Asia," said Schouest.
"Our team created a living creative system capable of expressing one idea that is strong enough to hold together, yet flexible enough to breathe. This allowed the campaign to move naturally across markets while always feeling like one unmistakable brand. We are incredibly proud to partner with Prudential on a milestone piece of work that so authentically reflects the brand," he added.
“Promises, made real.” began rolling out on 30 July 2026 and will run across digital, film, social and out-of-home channels in the region until November 2026.
The regional campaign builds on Prudential’s broader shift towards storytelling around life’s milestones, future planning and the commitments people make to their loved ones. In Hong Kong, the insurer previously explored similar themes through its “Next gen” campaign, which examined how parents can support their children’s ambitions in an increasingly AI-driven world.
As part of the campaign, Prudential Hong Kong partnered with TVB to launch family reality show “Next gen: Growing with AI”, using real-life conversations and career exploration experiences to encourage parents to think about how they can prepare the next generation for an uncertain future.
