Pos Malaysia has unveiled a special stamp set in conjunction with International Women’s Day 2025. This is the national postal and courier service provider’s third commemorative philatelic release of the year.
The collection features two “se-tenant” stamps — where two or more stamps are joined together vertically or horizontally. Each set is valued at RM1.30, showcasing illustrations in watercolour-like designs, highlighting women's achievements and contributions to society. Some of the women featured include a scientist, content creator, badminton player, chef, backpacker, and more.

In a statement to A+M, Pos Malaysia said the commemorative pieces are presented on the same sheet, but display distinct designs that complement each other.

The complete International Women’s Day release also includes a first day cover with a special date stamp featuring the IWD2025 logo, a themed postcard, and a collector's folder. The full package is available for RM38.10 at selected post offices nationwide and can also be purchased online through the Pos Malaysia website.
Pos Malaysia said, these stamps serve as meaningful tokens that celebrate the ongoing journey towards gender equality and women's empowerment.
This follows the successful launch of the postal company’s special edition Pokémon stamp set created in collaboration with Pokémon Trading Card Game. The stamp set featured beloved Pokémon characters such as Pikachu, Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur and other fan favourites. The special set included ten stamps, four postcards, a souvenir cover envelope, a Pokémon Trading Card Game fun pack and a playmat.
Earlier in December, Pos Malaysia partnered with Penang-based tech accessories company Galado to release a new limited-edition phone case collection. The collaboration is intended to feature Pos Malaysia’s brand through creative design elements.
