Oatbedient, a plant-based milk brand from Singapore, is expanding its presence to Hong Kong. Starting 1 December, the brand is rolling out its three signature flavours in selected supermarket stores across the city including Market Place, 3hreeSixty and Wellcome.

In a conversation with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, Elaine Teo, co-founder of Oatbedient, said that the brand's expansion is focused on providing the community with tasty products that are free from any junk or fillers. "With an increasing number of individuals seeking better alternatives in the region, including Hong Kong, we are confident that Hong Kong consumers will embrace our product, making it a staple in their daily essentials," she said.

While Oatbedient's expansion targets every HongKonger, its product range is designed to cater to all individuals at home, including children, working adults, and the elderly. "Our vision is to see our community enjoying and benefiting from Oatbedient, making it a part of their daily consumption," Teo said.

Oatbedient HK has partnered with Bonnie Communications on PR executions. Featuring its brand’s mascot, Oatdit, Oatbedient announced on its Instagram and Facebook that, its powdered series from Singapore is coming to Hong Kong.

“Oatbedient is bringing a whole new delectable oat milk experience to Hong Kong. The oat milk powder drinks are convenient to make and easy to store, bring them anywhere and enjoy them anytime,” Oatbedient said in the social media posts.

Moving forward, Teo said Oatbedient will introduce a flagship programme, "The Community Code" as part of its commitment to uplifting local artists and craftsmen, celebrating their extraordinary creativity. This initiative will be rolled out in collaboration with its regional partners.

Established in April 2022, Oatbedient offers powdered oat milk series and ready-to-drink beverages. The brand is committed to using quality ingredients, less sugar, and no palm oil. The company aims to provide consumers with a wholesome and nutritious alternative to traditional dairy-based products.

Apart from Hong Kong and Singapore, Oatbedient’s products are available in Malaysia and online retailers such as Lazada, Shopee Mall, panadamart and TikTok Shop.
