PHD has appointed Ali Jones managing director of its Sydney operation, with Pia Coyle moving into the national role of chief investment transformation officer.
Jones takes the reins after more than five years with the agency, during which she progressed from group business director, overseeing a client portfolio spanning Pepsi and Reckitt, to managing director. Both appointments are effective immediately.
She will lead PHD Sydney's people, client partnerships, performance and growth, following a string of new business wins and investments in innovation and AI.
Coyle moves into her new role after four years with PHD, taking responsibility for the agency's media partnerships and investment strategy nationally.
She will work with clients, media partners and the broader Omnicom network to identify new opportunities and deliver value.
PHD Australia CEO Laura Nice said the appointments reflected the depth of talent within the agency.
“We’ve built incredible momentum this year, and these appointments are about carrying that forward with two exceptional leaders who know our business, our people, and our clients,” Nice said.
