Bunnings has reappointed PHD Aotearoa as its New Zealand media agency following a review, extending one of the market's longest-running agency relationships.

The agency has worked with the retailer in New Zealand for 24 years, with the account put through a review before the latest reappointment.

PHD also represents Bunnings in Australia, giving the retailer a connected media arrangement across both sides of the Tasman.

PHD Aotearoa CEO Abby Parkin said the review had provided an opportunity to reset the relationship and its future direction.

“Our partnership with Bunnings has endured because we've continued to evolve and challenge the work we produce together,” Parkin said.

“We're incredibly proud of our 24-year partnership with Bunnings and grateful for the confidence they've continued to place in our team.”

The agency said its trans-Tasman arrangement allows Bunnings to share media insights and innovation across Australia and New Zealand while maintaining locally led planning in each market.
