Over 80% of Hong Kong businesses have formalised plans to adopt AI solutions immediately or within the next year, signaling a powerful drive to leverage the technology for business growth, according to a survey.

This survey was conducted by Cherrypicks, a Hong Kong-based technology startup, subsidiary of NetDragon Websoft, focusing on solutions driven by artificial intelligence.

The research highlights that corporate interest is now concentrated on four critical pillars of development, which include large-scale deployment, human-machine collaboration, unified data integration, and process intelligence.

Organisations are no longer satisfied with isolated or small-scale experiments; instead, they are seeking to integrate intelligent capabilities comprehensively across their entire operational ecosystems. While businesses aim to maximise productivity through automation, the survey emphasises a significant focus on ensuring that employees maintain their roles as the primary authorities in judgment and decision-making.

Furthermore, a prevalent challenge remains the fragmentation of data across disconnected systems, a situation that often leaves companies with vast amounts of information but a lack of actionable insights.

From a user experience perspective, enterprises desire solutions that allow employees to complete complex, cross-system tasks through natural language dialogue with AI assistants, thereby eliminating the need to navigate between multiple different platforms.

As generative AI technology reaches a higher level of maturity, businesses are rapidly transitioning from a cautious "wait-and-see" approach to actively seeking practical, deployable solutions.

Within the past few months, over 70% of new clients who adopted core solutions have proactively upgraded or purchased additional AI value-added features. This behaviour demonstrates that once an enterprise experiences the tangible improvements in efficiency and revenue generated by AI, they quickly gain the confidence to deepen their investment.

Kenny Chien, CEO of Cherrypicks, said, ""The true value of artificial intelligence for an enterprise is ultimately reflected in the substantial enhancement of business growth and productivity. We are observing an increasing number of brands that have moved past theoretical discussions about the possibilities of AI."

"Instead, they are actively pursuing localised solutions that can directly increase revenue and optimise the customer experience. The role of Cherrypicks is to transform cutting-edge AI capabilities into growth engines that enterprises can deploy immediately to achieve measurable results, ensuring that brands remain competitive in a challenging market," he added.
