Ogilvy Health has named Nadeem Amin (pictured centre) as the executive group director for Singapore. In his new role, Nadeem will be responsible for leading the fast-growing Ogilvy Health team in Singapore, leveraging Ogilvy’s strong healthcare and technology expertise to support clients with their business growth across Asia.

With over two decades of creative and leadership experience on both the agency and client side, Nadeem was most recently with UM Worldwide as regional managing partner where he spearheaded the deployment of digital and data-led customer acquisition strategies, precision and performance marketing, and technology partnership consolidation for Johnson & Johnson’s consumer, vision care and OTC businesses in APAC.

He started his career in Australia as a creative, then rapidly supported brands in their digital transformation, notably leading Kellogg’s digital acceleration across Southeast Asia. He later moved to Hong Kong to work as the head of digital for Danone Greater China HSBC’s performance, technology and innovation agenda across 13 markets in APAC as managing partner for PHD.

Meanwhile, the agency has also named Gopika Balraj (pictured right) and Jessica Geli (pictured left) as business directors. They are tasked with supporting health clients across various marketing and communication activities. They will be based out of Singapore and work closely with Nadeem and other regional leads across the company to support Ogilvy’s various pharmaceutical, medtech and healthcare clients in their digitalisation efforts and deliver impactful campaigns for clients.

Balraj previously worked as the digital health marketing consultant at IQVIA in 2019, where she led digital media campaigns for healthcare and life science companies. She also worked as the innovation portfolio manager at Budding Innovations, a Singapore company that develops in-market solutions, for two years, where one of her main duties was to build and execute digital healthcare solutions and engage new partners.

According to Ogilvy Health, Balraj’s sharp expertise in digital marketing and healthcare project management, as well as digital innovation transformation was what scored her the senior leadership role.

Meanwhile, Geli most recently worked as the senior account director for Publicis. She was also part of the agency team that contributed to multiple awarded consumer health campaigns including VICKS’ Touch of Care campaign in 2017.

Commenting on the appointment, Pierre Robinet, president of Ogilvy Health in Asia, said: “We are entering a new healthcare era, where digital technology giants are redefining access to healthcare, where patients should be at the core of our marketing offering, and where engagement with healthcare stakeholders must be personalised through advanced technology and data. Nadeem’s background and expertise across content, data, technology, and media orchestration is unique and will be instrumental to accelerate our expansion in Asia.”

Ogilvy Health is a creative network that focuses on driving better outcomes in the ever-changing healthcare environment in Asia. Ogilvy Health aims to inspire brands and people to impact the world by listening to patient needs, re-designing personalised patient experiences, and delivering innovative engagement solutions for all healthcare stakeholders, patients, and consumers across the healthcare continuum.
