Ocean Park is partnering with Under the Castle, a fantasy intellectual property created and directed by artist Jackson Wang, for its upcoming Halloween season.

In conversation with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, a spokesperson from Ocean Park said the park sees Under the Castle as a compelling creative partner, bringing a distinctive world, strong visual identity, and immersive storytelling potential that align closely with Ocean Park’s ambition to create fresh and memorable seasonal experiences.

"Through this collaboration, we also aim to broaden the appeal of Ocean Park and our iconic Halloween Fest beyond Hong Kong, positioning the Park as a destination that resonates with a wider audience through innovative, internationally relevant, and culturally engaging content," he added.

The collaboration will feature a dark, gothic-themed zone located at The Summit of Ocean Park, anchored by a newly constructed ancient castle setting. Designed around immersive storytelling, the area will serve as a photo backdrop alongside themed food and beverage options, interactive game booths, and exclusive merchandise sales.

The park stated that the activation aims to integrate high-fashion gothic aesthetics with its seasonal horror experiences, with additional off-site encounters planned across Hong Kong. The campaign is done in partnership with local creative agency Uth Creative.

Horror enthusiasts, music fans, and adventurous families are encouraged to follow Ocean Park’s official channels closely in the coming weeks for the latest updates and ticketing information.

"We are excited to announce this new collaboration with Under the Castle as part of Ocean Park’s Halloween Fest. This is just the beginning, and we look forward to sharing more details in August as we bring a fresh and immersive Halloween experience to our guests," said Franklin Law, head of marketing, Ocean Park.

Last year, Ocean Park Halloween Fest introduced blind box surprises into every haunted experience, centred on the daring theme "The cursed collection - everything taken demands a soul".

As part of the campaign, guests would face six terror-filled attractions, most notably “The hatred box”, where each opened lid offers a unique scare, making every visit unpredictably thrilling.
